Description
A fun quilt made with wool applique on linen backgrounds. The applique is completed with simple embroidery stitches using wool thread and perle 8 cotton.
The curved piecing on the background squares is made by hand (no scary machine stitched curves),with a simple technique and reverse applique. This is a great design to play with, you can customise the applique to reflect your memories from close to home of places visited.

Thanks for designing it…I did change the bottom right hand corner
to go with the places I go. Since I live in Utah with deserts and mountains I added the red rock ‘Delicate Arch’ and our beautiful Rocky Mountains.
