‘After the Rain’ combines my love of wool applique, embroidery and machine piecing.
I have used a variety of my favourite threads and embroidery stitches.
Each applique block is pieced together with a different block technique.
The kits will include the pattern for the applique and piecing (including the border),
pure wool background (Wonderfil) for the applique, hand dyed wool felt, embroidery floss or stranded thread (Cosmo seasons), perle 8 cottons (Wonderfil), wool thread (Wonderfil) and embroidery needles (Clover) to complete the 12 blocks.
Note: fabrics for piecing are not included.
